In a recent channeling, Spirit discussed the benefits of making it through a depressing period. The message explained that the “depths of despair” is a transitional step which cleanses our attachment to the dictates of society. As we stand there emotionally naked and in pain, we are willing to let everything go. As we release the struggle, we can sit in silence. All of the confusion, all of the energy which confronted us in everyday life, subsides. We experience peace.
The dark night of the soul is a rite of passage into a different level of spiritual connection. In surviving, we take a step and find peace. Then, even as we face new challenges, we can bring back that feeling of serenity.
Survival enhances our ability sit in silence and go into the profoundness of who we are. There, the woes of the world dissipate. When we meditate, our experience takes on a golden glow and brings us more information because we are aware of where we are going, striving to get there, and letting go of what we no longer need.
As we step into this wonderment that we have survived a spiritual crisis, we realize that we have been initiated into a different realm.
Spirit went to say that if you have not had that spiritual experience in this lifetime, you have probably had it in another lifetime which is related to this one. From that previous lifetime, you could have (in this life) an element of understanding, an element of letting go, and an element of peacefulness, so that even as you see the troubles of this world, you can get to a place of peace and calm.
Nice to know.
