A couple of weeks ago, I finished putting together my 2019 photo album. It is August 2020 and I’m still working on 2019 (gentle chuckling). That’s okay. I have one more 2019 project to complete, then I’ll move on to 2020, or back to 2018 . . . hard to decide which way I’ll go.
It’s very quiet on the psychic front right now. No psychic fairs, channelings, or interviews.
It’s very busy on the political front.
Where do the two topics intersect? They meet with the advice that we can follow along with events and be invested in them, but not to the extent that we allow these activities to ruin our lives. There is a sweet spot of involvement and action. We have to be careful not to move from that sweet spot to bitterness, strident anger, or despair. We can observe, help where we can, and not get too entangled in the divisiveness. We can take a step back, breathe, send good vibes to all that is truthful, kind, and fair, and to all those in need. We shouldn’t allow ourselves to get sucked into the drama.
Our growth occurs in our personal lives, not in what happens on TV. Our growth can be measured in the way we respond to what we see on TV (or in the streets or in the workplace).
Focus on the joy in your life. Look at happy art. Watch pet videos. Meditate. Eat chocolate. Call a friend on the phone (remember phone conversations?).
Forgive someone. Lighten your load.
Even though our lives may be quiet, we can still make progress toward our goals.
Take care.
