Understanding and awareness do not mean pretending things did not happen. They mean using each moment as a learning experience. Turn things around and look at them from a completely new perspective.

This is a “Season for Stories.” During the past holiday week, people around the world celebrated the Easter story of death and resurrection and the Passover story of the Jewish Exodus from slavery in Egypt to freedom. We, too, can share our modern stories of spiritual experience.  

I belong to a group where we often ask, “How has Spirit touched you in the last few weeks?” This question provides an opening for us to share our synchronicities and metaphysical moments.

Here are two of my recent stories:

1) My dog had a seizure about 10 days ago. The episode began early in the morning and lasted several hours. After the seizure, Maggie laid down, hidden in the backyard bushes, for a long time. I was tired, so I laid down too (but not in the bushes ;) ). As I lay there, I saw a shimmery white shower curtain in my mind. It was very peaceful. So peaceful.

My question: Did I see the Veil separating the physical and non-physical worlds? Was my dog so close to the Veil that I could see it too? Or, did Spirit just bring me to a very peaceful place because that was what I needed?

2) Around the dinner table a few nights ago, one person brought up the idea that in 10 or 15 years technology would provide the option that we no longer die. Our parts could be replaced. Our illnesses cured. This person added that, right now, we might not be able to imagine all the things we could do with our extra time because those things had not yet been invented.

I countered that I didn’t think I wanted to live forever. Technologically-modified aging bodies might be uncomfortable. Besides, I thought there might be great adventures after death, on the other side. There, we could also try things that we couldn’t yet imagine.

Well, that stopped the conversation. No one was sure how to react. When we inject the mystical into conversations, people might not know what to say. At the same time, these ideas could open their minds. No right. No wrong. Just ideas.

I would like to encourage you to share your mystical stories with friends and family. They are your true, personal, magical experiences. They are stories of serendipity and coincidence. Your story might spark someone else’s curiosity or infuse a little wonder into their life. You never know where these conversations might lead, and you might enjoy the outcome.

I need to publish the book. Earthly time is limited. There is no such thing as time, but we have gone through many, many experiences in our lifetimes which need to be shared with people.”

Our Dear Ones,

Use your focus and your vision to look for the desirable effect in everything. To look for the good, the positive, the healing, the nurturing aspect of everything.

To truly live your belief that we are all co-creators in the divine, and everything is unfolding exactly as it should, means there is a higher synergy, a higher energy in place. You will see what you hone your eyes to see, what you have allowed your hearts to feel, and what you have allowed your essences to feel.

If you look for the imperfection, it will glare. If you dig until you find that nugget, that precious gem in the lesson, in the experience, in the person, in the travel, you will find it. If you have made your life’s focus to find that little seed of positive healing, restorative truth, you are wealthy. Your joy comes from knowing you knew it was there. You didn’t give up. You found it. You saw it. You recognized it and called it by name.

Truly knowing that you are co-creators with the divine means your focus is like a precision surgical instrument that can cut through and find what you seek.

Guard your emotions to look for the good. Guard your thought process to look for a higher understanding.

Know that, no different than an artist chooses every single stroke and every single shade and nuance of a color on a palette, on a canvas, and every one of them adds to the totality of the masterpiece (whether you see it as a masterpiece or not) you are the hues and the shades and the variance that the divine created for contrast and for accent in this world. Do not tone it down; do not wash it out. Be boldly, brightly who and what you are. Know that that is your divine gift because you are one of the sacred, selected hues and colors in the tapestry of this life.

All that you seek is available to you. “Ask and you shall receive” is meant with such a clarity. If you want to know, you will know. If you want to see, you will see. If you want to be, you will be.

We go before you. We honor your path, as well as the path of many who have walked before and many who will walk in the future. All paths are honorable, whether or not you know how they assist the whole.

When speaking with our Spirit Guides and angels, we are often encouraged to request “gifts greater than we know to ask.” What does this mean? It’s easy to ask for cars, cash, or health. We can identify those types of requests. “Gifts greater than we know to ask,” stumps me.

In the meantime, souls who have crossed over, and other types of benevolent energies, are developing new ideas and solutions, and are looking for people on Earth who are open to receive this kind of information.

Many of those who have crossed over continue to work. They research ideas in the spiritual realm and look for ways to transmit these concepts to the Earth plane.

For example, we have been told that our deceased friend, Randy, is developing new ways to heal skin. He is also trying to help scientists see that the spiritual realm, medicine, and science are one thing. How can he get these ideas from the other side to this side?

A few weeks ago, I saw how these two concepts came together.

If it’s for your highest and best good, and you ask for “gifts greater than I know to ask,” you create an opening, a space, a conduit, which allows someone on the other side to get a message to you. You didn’t ask for anything specific, you kept an open mind, and they found someone on Earth who was receptive to ideas.

When vibrational energy from one side of the veil attracts similar vibrational energy on the other side of the veil, knowledge can be downloaded into open minds.

Souls on the other side are trying to get information to humans. When you seek “gifts greater than I know to ask,” and you are in vibrational harmony with the concepts, you may receive wisdom from someone on the other side who is looking for an opening to transmit this material.

Throughout history, people like Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla have received brilliant mathematical concepts from unknown sources. On a more personal level, I have listened to people who receive and channel insightful messages from Spirit.

Those on the other side are looking to connect with us. When we build a bridge from our side of the veil and they build a bridge from their side, the connection can be astonishing.

Crystals wearing Cloaks

Here’s a way to think about life and the things which happen to/for us.

A few weeks ago, I listened to someone channel a message which explained that each of us is like an energetic crystal which has come to Earth. Our crystal wears a cloak with many pockets. Each pocket contains something we are to experience in life: a joy, a sorrow, or a task. At the end of life, the pockets of our cloak are empty. We have accomplished all that we were here to achieve. Then, we return to the non-physical world.

Under it all, we are shimmering, glowing, wise crystals.

“Let’s pretend that you are a crystal. You have come down and anchored your point into the Earth. That is not all you have done. In addition to manifesting in three dimensional reality, you have taken a cloak. Each of you have taken a cloak which is imbued and embroidered, and the pockets are filled with everything that you have chosen.

“The family you have come into, the sorrows and the joys, and everything you have chosen to experience in this life, is like a cloak over the crystal that you are.

“As you wear this cloak, you fulfill that which you came to fulfill in every pocket. You have a child in one pocket. You have a sorrow in another pocket. You have a necklace of joys. There is nothing that is ordained as a lightworker. A lightworker experiences absolute freedom and everything you imagine about the lightworker is true. Everything you imagine. So if you imagine someone like your Superman, who can see through walls, that is absolutely true.

“The growth in yourself is the understanding that you are indeed powerful beyond what your imagination can embrace. It is the acceptance of this, we will call it “divine powerful.” I would say “wisdom,” but wisdom is a destination. Beyond wisdom, words cease to exist for the feelings that you have. When you have a feeling that has no words, know that you are functioning in the lightworker energy -- the energy of your consciousness in its full expanded embrace of the entire firmament and the three dimensional reality and everything that you see out there in space.

“You are grand. You are powerful. As you accept that, it creates the third dimensional reality of the cloak that you have put on. It gives you a glimpse into how powerful you are and, as you stand on that pinnacle, saying, ‘Gee, I may be this powerful,’ you will see distances and eons and times and futures and pasts, all of which are available to you.

“We ask you now to ask for an adventure that takes you beyond that which you are comfortable doing because if you ask, so it will be, and I will assist you with it.”

                            Prediction from a Psychic - Midwest Flooding

This is a bit of psychic “cherry picking.” In November 2018, Misty Thompson predicted:

“The Midwest is going to have a really bad time. Tennessee and Missouri are coming up. I know the weather has been funky lately, but I feel like it is going to hit really big in the Midwest. I feel that there are going to be big storms and tornadoes in March and April.”


At the end of the year, we’ll find out if the rest of Misty’s predictions also came to pass.
