Over the years, many of you have read channeled messages from Susan Sampson on this blog. Susan also reads past lives. I interviewed Susan a few months ago. While her full interview isn’t yet ready for publication, I wanted to share the story about her first past-life reading.
I have discovered that a psychic’s first reading sometimes takes them by surprise. They don’t realize that it was a reading until afterwards. They wonder, “Where did that come from?”
Other times, a psychic may have asked for a specific ability, and it has shown up. In Susan’s case, her first reading also involved a UFO sighting. Was that related to the arrival of her psychic abilities? I don’t know.
I asked Susan, “How did the past-life readings begin?”
Susan answered:
“One evening, my sister and I and a friend went to the Lake Superior lake shore. It was cool. It was dusk. We were laying on the beach and we saw a light shining straight down, like a helicopter light, but there were no helicopters there. This thing flew over and when it got to the edge of the tree line, instead of shining down, the light shown out the back. In the back, were tiny, little ships. There was a huge ship in the front and tiny ships following it. I thought, ‘I’m not a psychic. I know spirituality. I am going to ask what they want.’ I asked why they were here and they said, ‘We’re just curious.’ I said, ‘So are we.’
“Afterwards, I drove my sister home. I also had to drive our friend home. I asked if she was in a hurry and she was not. I told her that I thought I had a past life coming up within me. I had an energy in my body. It had been three months since I had asked to be able to do past-life readings. The energy was coming up, but I didn’t know if it was going to arrive.
“We went back to the lake shore where we had seen the UFO, and I told her about a life in western China. I started seeing a movie in my head. It took a long time to share the information because I didn’t believe the images I was seeing in my head. I didn’t believe the movie, but the movie wouldn’t move until I told her what I saw.
“When I was done, I looked at this woman. The first time you do a reading, you don’t know if you are really doing it or not. She was sitting there with her mouth open, like she was star struck. It was like a cartoon. She said, ‘I’ve been married twice and I never told my husbands, or anyone on the face of the Earth, that I read everything I can find on western China because it feels so good.’
“She had asked really good questions during the reading. She had asked what she was wearing on her feet and I had told her how her sandal-type shoes had been constructed. I could see them. It’s hard to get people to ask good questions when you do a past-life reading.”
