In the southwest, we use a phrase, “The Whole Enchilada.” It means “everything.” So here’s “The Whole Enchilada of Life.” It’s a lot to take in, but every now and then, it’s good to step back and remind our selves of the Big Picture.
Before birth, we work with non-physical entities to create a contract for our life. We develop a plan with all the challenges and opportunities we will need in order to explore whatever it is that we want to investigate during each lifetime. Then, we come to Earth with our life outline and our free will. We use free will to fill in the details of our life, while working on our contract. We have a life purpose to work on, personal lessons to learn, and Karma from previous lifetimes to re-balance. All the while, we are allowing Source to learn vicariously through our experiences.
Our life contract contains the big ideas. We use our free will to express our preferences. For example, our contract may say that we want to explore interpersonal love during this lifetime. Our free will allows us to choose who we love.
We work on themes. Before birth, we may design a lifetime for working on the theme of love, or the theme of getting through life without love – standing strong and alone. Maybe we want to explore the theme of abundance or its flip side, poverty.
Experiences help us grow. If, mid-way through our life, we realize that we are not enjoying our journey, or think we made a mistake when we set up our contract, we can change the circumstances of our life and change the roles we play. Yet, even as we change our circumstances, we continue to fulfill our contract, work on our project, experience lessons, burn Karma, and allow Source to work through us.
On our journey, we are assisted by Spirit Guides, angels, Master Teachers, deceased loved ones, and our Higher Self. An energy Source infuses us so we can move, think, and be alive.
We are born with a set of Spirit Guides and a set of angels. One particular Spirit Guide is in the forefront, always with us. We also have a specific Guardian Angel who is with us from birth through death. Other Guides, angels, and teachers come forward as needed for special projects.
Between Source and our individual soul, we have a “Higher Self.” Our Higher Self is a point of connection. It’s as if it has to step down the energy from Source so that we can manage to use this energy without burning out. This Higher Self directs our life, along with any other lives our soul is living. One Higher Self. One soul. Multiple, simultaneous lives.
We have a supportive community of deceased friends and relatives who cheer us on from The Other Side. They can send energy to help us along our path. We also have friends who are alive. We circle through incarnations with this group of friends, helping each other achieve our goals.
We have a body to house our soul so that we can experience physical life. We have a brain to help us work through situations, and we have a consciousness which keeps us connected to the non-physical realm.
We are cycling around on a Wheel of Incarnation, learning to love ourselves and to understand who we truly are so that, eventually, we can evolve off of the Wheel and move to different realms and realities.
Knowing that some people, such as psychics, can communicate with invisible entities and bring messages to the rest of us, provides proof for this mystery-laden set-up. When we can hear from deceased loved ones, we know they still exist. When we can receive loud, verbal directions from Spirit Guides, we know they exist. When we hear our own internal voice, we feel our connection to the Universe and know that all is well, as we travel along our path.
