I’ve received a few messages through psychics about the importance of considering different perspectives. I have my opinions and I like to think I’m correct. Spirit continues to remind me that everyone has different impressions which are based on their life experience. All these perspectives are valid and need to be considered.
This example was given: someone who lives near the equator might report that this is a hot planet. Someone who lives near the arctic circle might report that this is a cold planet. From their perspective, each person is right.
It’s easy to think that we have the only valid observations of life, but other people’s points of view are true for them. We can learn from their experiences.
People incarnate to have physical adventures. Everyone is on a different path which leads them to have their own opinions.
In addition, some people's ideas seem “unenlightened.” The path they have chosen is giving them the lessons they seek. To us, it may seem like they are on a “dark” path. To them, it’s the path they selected before birth, and they chose it for a reason.
Spirit remarked, “From each individual’s perspective, in the sphere of their lifetime and development, their perspective is accurate.”
“Fools will argue. Intelligent minds will understand that we merely differ in perspective. There are aspects of truth in all. When you can accept that life variances create different perspectives, you may find yourself living in peace. That is why peace and harmony have been difficult for the greater globe.”
“Just like the earth is spinning and shifting on its axis, you are spinning and shifting. You are a vibrational energy which grows and expands. Just when you think you understand something, you realize there is a higher level. When you were in school, you were happy to be able to add. Then they threw in subtraction. Then, times tables and division. Always more to learn. As you integrate energy within yourself, you will see how much more there is to integrate. This is an eternal process and a wonderful experience of development and vibration.”
One person in the room commented that each of us is at a different level. One person might be on their 100th incarnation while another person is on their first.
In light of these remarks, I have been making an effort to talk with new people and see what they think. I try not to judge. Fortunately, most people are delightful.
The truth? The thing which gets me every time is politics. I read the news and I cannot understand why anyone would support the way immigrants are being treated. We were all immigrants at one time. How can anyone have the mental/emotional capacity to think of separating children from their parents? How can anyone think of deporting people who need intensive medical care? What kind of person thinks that way?
Yet, Spirit tells me that these officials are either basing their opinions on their experience or they are playing a role. In life, some folks play the good guy and some folks play the bad guy. This is the path they have chosen for this lifetime. Do we have to listen to them too?
Spirit sent this personal message to me:
“Perhaps the question is not, ‘How do we fix it?’ but ‘How do we all understand and respect and value the different aspects of each one, without needing to quantify something as better or worse?’”
“Remember that the book, ‘Tell me Why,’ has been published. Now, you can find out the ‘whys’ from people in different communities that you respect and value – creative minds that are not locked into a particular dogma or a particular party. Ask the artists. Ask the ones who are out on the edge. Ask the ones that you know nothing about. As you collect this data, it will open your eyes to see that wisdom comes in spots which you did not anticipate. You will see things with greater clarity.”
“We are all one vibration. One collective union of the questions and perspectives. There is not an answer, my dear, any more than there is one vibrative energy. Source energy vibrates on many levels. The answers are varied. When that is understood, accepted, appreciated, and challenged, that is growth. That is education. That is awareness. It is only when people ponder situations with that kind of a desire and willingness, that people grow.”
“Whole civilizations have died off from things having to be done one way. Civilizations grow and thrive from understanding that there is not ‘a one way.’”
I love listening to people who think like me. People who don’t think like me? I find it very difficult to hear different opinions without judgement. I suppose that I can draw a line here. I can keep an open mind and consider their words, but if I don’t agree, I don’t have to agree. My experiences are valid too.
