A big “thank you” to those of you who responded to last week’s blog post on Transitions. Some people commented on the blog page, others sent e-mails, others called on the phone or showed up at the Psychic Fair. I appreciate all of your responses!
Three striking things:
(1) It seems that many people are in this “in-between” stage, not quite knowing where they are going.
(2) One person told me that when her husband retired, it took three years to define their new interests and their new life.
(3) Someone else responded that it takes time for each couple to find their “thing.” Eventually, they decide to travel, volunteer, watch grandkids, or do something else. Every couple has a “thing.” Cool.
Finally, I heard from several people (and I know this from trying to figure out the statistics on my website) that there is no way to know how many people are reached through my writing. I have to learn to trust that doing my part (putting it out there) is enough. The work will reach the people who can benefit from it.
