These days, it’s hard to watch TV due to the nasty campaign ads, full of lies.
I have always been pleased that these disturbing political seasons are followed by the holidays – a period of gratitude and delight, as if it’s our reward for trudging through the cesspool of political ads.
Last night I asked Spirit if things would get better after the elections. The answer? “Better, but not as good as you hope.”
We are a divided country and some political leaders like it that way. I know we need to unite in love and peace. We need solutions. It’s difficult to find the bridge from fracture to unity, but let’s keep looking.
