The Woman
I had an experience at an Ashram. I went to this place of awareness where there were no words. It was pure consciousness. It was an awareness of everything being the same energy. I could see the people, the dishes, the building, my clothes; everything was the same energy.
Everything had the same vibration. Everything was G-d energy.
I went into this place of pure consciousness.
One of the monks was bopping by and I grabbed his arm. I had to swim through this thick quicksand to find the place where words were. It was this pure awareness. There were no words, no thoughts, nothing. I was finally able to articulate to him how hysterical it was. It’s the ultimate cosmic joke -- you are G-d and you are running around trying to pretend that you are not. I am G-d and I am running around and pretending that I am not. I started laughing my head off. He looked at me and said, “You got it.” Then he bopped off.
I went back into this place of no thoughts and no words.
The Man
I had an experience while hiking. Things seem to happen more easily when I am in nature. I am going along and all of the sudden, I feel, “I am just energy.” What was new for me was that everything around me became energy. It was like my energy was passing through the energy of everything else. I wasn’t scared. It was cool. This is the truth of what is. I understand that to have an experience, we create the illusion of material stuff. I get that. This was the first time I was able to feel the difference between what I perceive as reality on a human level and what is the actual truth.
