![]() "How do you manifest? You manifest by saying, “I am going to get the job that I want.” “I am going to have the birthday party that I’ve always envisioned.” “I am going to take the trip and it is going to be as joyous as I can possibly make it.” That is all you have to do. You have to speak it to the universe. You can think it. That will work. But if you speak it to the universe, you are sending out a vibration and you are sending out an image. You are sending out that which you want to bring to you and there is no way it will not arrive. "I am going to say that again. There is no way it will not arrive." "Have a goal. Envision it. Say it out loud. Then, know that it will arrive. KNOW that it will arrive." Channeled by Susan Sampson [email protected]

![]() Everything we do is individualized. We make choices. A basic framework exists for life, death, and the afterlife. Within that framework, we create our own experience. The afterlife. Getting there. At the moment of death, the soul rises from the body and is guided by someone (or some energy) we trust, so that we are not afraid. Then, we create whatever we think the afterlife is. We experience what we think will happen. If we think we are going to meet G-d, G-d will be there. If we think we are going to party with our friends, they will greet us. If we think we are going to Hell, we will have a darker experience. If we don’t think anything happens after death, nothing will happen. The idea is that we are not to be frightened by dying. Getting what we expect, makes the transition easier than being surprised by events we did not expect. For those who were enlightened in life, crossing to the other side can be quite easy. They slip over, reunite with friends and relatives, and move on to do whatever it is they wish to do. For those who were not so enlightened, crossing can be uneasy. Still, they can be greeted by friends, relax, adjust, have a life review, and move forward to work with their Guides. For those who had traumatic deaths, like plane crashes or prolonged illnesses, there may be a period of healing and adjustment. For those who don’t think anything will happen, nothing happens. They may be in a state we would liken to “suspended animation.” They can relax. They can heal. They can get over the surprise that they are not “dead.” If they choose to, they can glimpse their former life. Or they can wait. What are they waiting for? Only they know. How long will they wait? Could be a short time, could be forever. Their choice. Entities may come and ask if they need help moving forward and the soul can say, “yes” or “no.” Some souls will accept assistance and move forward towards the kind of afterlife we call “heaven.” Others will rebuff the offers of assistance for any number of reasons. Maybe they don’t think the offers are real. Maybe they don’t trust the energy which is approaching them. Maybe they are waiting for something to happen. What are they waiting for? Who knows. If someone who has crossed wants to stay in this state of non-reflection, they can choose to do so. They can blame other people for things which happened in their life. They can be pissy. Or they can be calm and take time to rest. There is no hurry. No need to move forward. They have forever. They can stay in that state of cocooning for as long as they desire. At some point, they may become curious about other options and look outside of themself. They may decide to accept assistance from an angel or another soul who can help them “open their eyes” and see more of what is available on the other side. Eventually, souls move forward. They begin to see that there are opportunities for growth on the other side. They can meet other souls, play card games, take classes, or research areas of interest. If they so choose, they can plan a future life, then reincarnate on earth or somewhere else in the universe. Many choices. People who have led lives of introspection on earth, often breeze through their life review on the other side. People who have not thought about their life on earth, may take longer to review their experiences, lessons, and interactions with others. A soul who doesn’t want to review their life because they know they will see things they don’t want to see, or who doesn’t want to take responsibility for things they did in life, doesn’t have to have a life review. They can remain oblivious. It’s all individual choice and creation (are you seeing a pattern here?). Even a soul who is not interested in introspection can decide to reincarnate. However, if they are still working on lessons and experiences which they didn’t complete in a previous life, they may set up scenarios where they work through those challenges again. They will continue to experiences similar adversities from life to life, until they figure out whatever they came to earth to figure out. It’s all individual. We have many more choices than we know. Let me know what you think. Gail [email protected] ![]() Everyone throughout the universe is trying to organize and improve their space, small or large. The energy of “improving” is going on everywhere and it’s a good thing. Cumulatively, we are fostering an energy of betterment. Cumulatively, we are making the world a better place. If it doesn’t look like an improvement to us, maybe it’s because another person’s idea isn’t something which appeals to us. For example, someone may be adding black licorice to their menu, and we don’t care for black licorice. We don’t think it’s an improvement, but it still feeds the good, expansive, feeling of the person choosing the black licorice. You can see this drive to create well in home improvement projects, in well-loved gardens, in theatrical groups which develop new performances, in schools with greenhouses, and in whole countries which strive to clean their environment. The concept also applies to self-improvement: being kinder to our self and others, deferring judgement, appreciating beauty. Keep creating in your part of the universe. It all adds up. ![]() Announcement: The Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair is this Sunday, July 7, at the DoubleTree Inn at 445 South Alvernon Way. The Fair runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. It should be a good day. Come join us if you can. Overriding Destiny Last week, I wrote about Life Purpose and Destiny. Our life purpose propels us forward along our path so we achieve our goals. We take strides towards our destiny. Our destiny is reflected in the things we achieve. Where did these goals come from? They came from the life plan we set up before we were born. So the question is, “If we have a life purpose and a destiny, but we decide we don’t like the way things are going, can we override our fate?” In addition to the broad outline of the life we planned while on the other side, we also have free will. We have choices. Many times, we use our free will to fill in the details of our destiny. For example, our destiny may be to experience marriage. Free will allows us to select our mate. Other times, we use our free will to override our destiny. We make new choices. If we pre-determine that this life will be about exploring illness, or loss, or lack of finances, and we get fed up with these issues, we can change the script. We can turn our life around. Maybe we can recover from the illness or find a better job. When this happens, we might wonder, “Did I use my free will to override my fate, or was my fate to learn how to overcome these issues?” Good question. How do we know? We don’t know. While alive, it is difficult to determine what is happening. The only way to answer this question is to talk to our Higher Self, perhaps on our own, or perhaps by talking with a psychic who has these kinds of connections. According to a message channeled by Susan Sampson, free will can overtake fate. We have to go back to the original paradigm of the soul. The soul lives forever. If we choose not to follow our fate in this lifetime, not to do whatever desire we had within us, it is okay. We will have the chance to address this issue over and over until we have the courage, or the interest, or the curiosity, to explore it. Susan went on to say: “Let me make this clear. Number 1, you don’t know your fate. Number 2, you have free will. Is your free will your fate? Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. Is [your choice] wrong? No. Is it right? For this life, it is right. “It doesn’t make a difference if you fulfill everything or if you take a slightly different route and you continue this issue into another life . . . Everyone is worried about getting everything right. There is no “right.” Everything is right -- even if you step diametrically opposed to the fate you designed. Perhaps your Higher Self looked down and said, ‘Let’s give them an inclination to do something else.’ The machinations of spirit and the options of the soul are so vast that you can’t grasp them now and you can’t understand them now, but there is no judgement on if you are moving on the path you designed or if you have chosen to take a step off. It is all correct.” Everything we need to experience in this life, will be experienced in this life. Some issues will be postponed to future lifetimes. Take a breath. Do your best. Don’t get discouraged. Live this lifetime to the best of your ability and explore the joy. In fact, enjoy the 4th of July. I asked him what he does. He answered: “I am an angel channeler. I channel messages from angels; from my angels and your angels. I am also a Medium and a Spiritual Teacher. I am a little bit of everything. I mainly work with the angels. I am kept at an angelic frequency. I deliver messages of guidance and love. “I hear the angels. I have seen them, but I don’t see them very often because I cry when I see them. It’s emotional.” Dany Michaels www.danymichaels.com In April, I pondered the ideas of Life Purpose, Soul Purpose, and Destiny with Susan Sampson. She added depth to the discussion by bringing through messages from a Spirit Guide. Here are a few highlights of our discussion:
Before we enter physical life, we confer with a Council and scope out the life to come. We agree to have certain experiences and to work on particular lessons. Then, we are born with a life purpose and we attempt to achieve our destiny. Destiny is the physical manifestation of life purpose, like having children or writing a book. We are born to achieve a destiny. It happens in the physical world. Soul purpose is a larger concept than life purpose. A soul purpose can meander through several lives. It can weave through this side and the other side. We are exploring, then coming back. Trying again. Destiny stays here. Destiny is a rock hard destination in a particular life. Everyone comes in with a plan, then life happens and the plan changes. Most people achieve a portion of their destiny. The rest of life will be devoted to surviving life, understanding life, re-learning what we need to know, and getting the answers which move us along our path of destiny. These are the answers we wished to understand when we stood before the Council to plan our life. The Spirit Guide added, “When it comes to destiny and life purpose, there is a progressive understanding and growth that moves you into higher and higher resonances and vibrations because you are returning to Source as you become explorers in three dimensional reality and other dimensions of reality. As you traverse those dimensions of reality, you are learning, and you are contributing to the whole understanding of the experience.” I tend to think of destiny as a destination -- that place where you feel like you’ve arrived. The moment when you feel you have achieved what you came to achieve. Spirit reminded me, “Perhaps what you have come to achieve is smiling at a neighbor, or something so small and finely refined as to be a pure example of love. You do not recognize those fine, pure, slivers, and you think they do not make a difference. In fact, they are a major stepping stone, a major achievement, as you pursue the destiny of each life.” I asked about my destiny in this lifetime, and was given this glimpse regarding the work I do: “You will get hints from your research and hints from your experiences until you can do as you wish. In that doing as you wish, you will find connections with like-minded people who exist in spirit and will find communicating with you easier than communicating through other entities. Your desire is fostered by relationships with those in spirit who need your voice.” I am certainly looking forward to that! I want to thank Susan Sampson for this delightful discussion and for providing the messages from Spirit which deepened my understanding of Life Purpose, Soul Purpose, and Destiny. While I was in Lake Pleasant, Massachusetts, I visited the National Spiritual Alliance. It was difficult to find this old building by a lake. We drove by it a couple of times before seeing the sign.
From the outside, it's an old building which could use a wee bit of maintenance. From the inside, it's a beautiful space. Downstairs is a large gathering area. Upstairs, is a gorgeous sanctuary. On the stairs, is a statue (Kwan Yin, I think) with selenite blocks. I don't know what kind of wood the ceiling is made of, but it is spectacular. Here are a few photos: ![]() I asked Ruth Red Eagle, a Reiki master and healer, “When did you know you were psychic?” Ruth answered, “When did I NOT know?” Ruth was born into a family with traditional values. Her mother was Catholic and her father was Mormon. Both were very structured. Ruth added, “When they had this beautiful bouncing baby girl who showed up shining, feeling everything, seeing everything, and knowing everything, it freaked them out. It scared the crap out of them.” When she was four or five years old, her father took her to a psychic and had blocks put in her third eye and the base of her skull. The psychic assured her father that Ruth would be “normal” now. This experience told Ruth that her gifts were not acceptable. She had to close them down. Ruth explained, “Throughout my life, it’s been a tug of war. My mind and spirit say, ‘I want to be psychic. I want to work on this.’ The other part of me, with the childhood stuff, says, ‘That’s dangerous. You can’t do that. That’s a bad thing.’ My whole life has been that back and forth. You move two inches forward and an inch backward, then two more inches forward. It’s been hard. “For the last couple of years, Spirit has been telling me it’s okay. ‘You need to call this back in and be who you truly are. It’s okay for people to see you and know who you really are: a Medicine Woman, a healer, a helper. A steward of the earth and of humanity.’” Hoping for a happy ending, I asked, “When you are born into a family with two straight-laced parents, what is the story?” I thought she would say that she had enlightened her parents. Instead she answered: “Abuse. Abuse, abuse, abuse. Abuse. It was hard for them to understand. They could not control what was happening with me. I had physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and spiritual abuse. Everything you can imagine. I had a father, an older brother, and my mother. My brother was like, ‘Oh, this is the way you treat girls. This is the way you treat women.’ I became evil incarnate in his mind.” Ruth added, “My parents divorced when I was around seven. After that, I lived with my mother. She was very controlling. It was not okay for me to be free and to be who I was. She put a lot of barriers around me.” “As a human being growing up on this planet, you think this is normal. You start drawing that ugliness into your life because that is your normal. It’s taken time for me to come back to that innocent spirit I’ve always had inside. It’s always been there. Thank you, Lord, it’s never left me. I’ve always felt that connection, even through the darkness. “I remember a time when I was so sad and so hurt that I thought, ‘Please G-d, take me home. Let me go home. Can I go home?’ Spirit answered, ‘No. You are going to be here for a long time. The world needs you.’ “All of those experiences created a tremendous amount of compassion, understanding, patience, acceptance, and forgiveness. I learned about forgiveness because there had been so many intense experiences.” I asked, “How could you forgive them?” Ruth answered, “I know that they didn’t know the truth of who I was. Or even who they were.” “The cool thing that has happened because of that is that ancestors who have passed on have come to me and thanked me for being who I am and doing this work. I have healed ancestral lines through my work. That’s huge. “Now, I am so happy because I am doing what I know I am supposed to be doing. Things are changing. I can go into other realms and dimensions very easily. I’ve always been able to do that. I feel like I’ve been teaching kindergarten most of my life. Now, I’m going to be teaching college. I’m stepping up from a different vibration. We are going to be taking quantum leaps. The people who are coming to see me and others of us, are going to be bumped up. Their energy is going to be stronger, more fluid. They are going to release things which don’t serve them. They are going to understand why things have happened in their lives. “I bring a big perspective. As humans, we see ourselves on this tiny globe and we think this is all there is. We divide the Earth into continents, then get smaller and smaller. Spirit is telling me, ‘No. You’ve got to expand. It’s time to start being okay with being light.’” “I am a free spirit, wild flower, hippie girl who runs through the fields. I have to be. I’ve always been that. Even when my parents told me I couldn’t be like that, I was still that person on the inside. It oozes from the pores of my body. I have so much light within because of who I was created to be. I think more people will be drawn to me because they recognize my spirit.” Thank you, Ruth, for sharing your story of overcoming adversity. However, when I say something like, “I see you going east,” that’s all I have in my head. There isn’t anything more to the reading until I say it. If I don’t say it, spirit won’t give me anything else.” On Channeling - “Once you are down [in your meditation], demand that a person come and that you see them. Say you want all the information to come through a G-d consciousness. When they step up to speak, you start speaking. As you get deeper into the topic, you will find that they start coming out with information. It’s very subtle.” “The words which come out of your mouth will slowly morph into a kind of dialogue that you don’t usually use. Don’t judge anything. Turn off your judgement.” “The more you do it, the better you get.” Susan A. Sampson You can contact Susan via e-mail: [email protected] |
