Teri Thene

Quote from a Psychic - Teri Thene

At the Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair, I asked several psychics what they offer clients. Teri Thene replied:

"I'm an intuitive. I'm claircognizant, clairvoyant, and clairsentient. I am a healer and a medical intuitive. It's getting stronger. If I do a body scan, I can tell where you have had injuries. I can tell what is hurting, past and present. I can tell what is going on in your body. How do I know? I don't know. It just comes to me.

"I'm also a Karuna Reiki Master. I've been doing this for 10-12 years.

"When you ask me a question, I get an answer. My angels and Spirit Guides are around me. I receive messages from Spirit.

"I also do automatic writing. A question comes and I write it down. By the time I'm done writing the question, I begin receiving a stream of consciousness answer. Automatic writing clarifies points. This strategy takes my brain out of the equation.

"As a child, I knew things that people didn't understand. I had a very clear concept of things.

"As a young adult, I could see certain things, especially in that dream/awake stage. Then, I was touched by Spirit. Energy vibrated through my body, but it didn't frighten me. I asked, ‘What is going on?' The touch pushed me on my path.

"I was doing my evening prayers and affirmations. I was falling asleep. I was touched on my shoulder. My body reacted, then released. It happened again a few minutes later. Then it happened a third time. There was no mistaking this. I wasn't having a seizure. It was energy coursing through my body. My whole body was shaking, but I wasn't scared. I thought, ‘Isn't that interesting?' I knew it was Spirit. I knew it wasn't anything to be scared of.

"For a year afterwards, I could feel the spot on my shoulder where I had been touched.

"Being touched pushed me into taking spirituality classes and learning Reiki. It spurred me to search out and start developing all of this."

Opening the Heart

Overheard at the Psychic Fair - Opening the Heart

"There are no limits to what we can do, except for the perceptual boundaries that we are either conditioned with, or place upon ourselves. The only thing that I've ever found that really frees us is the utmost, sincere, opening of the heart. That's the definition of courage: to open your heart. It requires faith.

"Once you start to feel the actual light, it's not like a religion. It's like a living, conscious light that is love, that is understanding, that is knowing. It is kindness. It is compassion. It is all those things. It's bundled into the cosmic creative stuff that is infinite, everywhere, in everything. It's in every atom.

"People make choices out of fear or out of love. It's not the only way to look at it, but it's a useful way to look at it. Fear closes the heart, and love opens it. The only way you can see, is through an open heart. How can you see anything if your heart is closed? When my heart was closed, I was blind. I rewound time and I opened my heart."

Reincarnation and Past Lives

Reincarnation and Past Lives

Today, I want to think about two closely-related topics: reincarnation and past lives.

Reincarnation is the idea of cycling along a growth continuum where we dip into physical lives, have experiences, have the body die and the soul return to the other side, regroup, heal, plan a fresh life, and be reborn in a new body.

Past lives are the content of the lives we have led. Our past lives include our stories, experiences, and recollections. Past lives are the part of our journey which has been lived in physicality.

When we are born, we carry three major influences into our new lives: past lives, Karma, and a life plan.

Past Lives

In this life, you may have experienced something traumatic as a child which impacted the rest of your life. For example, maybe you nearly drowned and now you are afraid of water.

Now, extend that timeline to consider your past lives. If you had died when the Titanic went down, you might fear oceans. If something happened even further back in your many lifetimes, the influence of that event may have waned over time. However, you may have accumulated Karma which is playing out in this life from a long-ago event.

I have been told about a few of my past lives and they makes sense to me, although I don't remember them.

Karma

Karma is an energetic rebalancing between souls. A simple example: earlier in this life, or perhaps in a past life, you had a car accident and injured someone. Now, they have the opportunity to injure you so you can see what both sides of that experience feel like, and so can the other person. To make it more complicated, a third person may be involved. Person A may have injured Person B. Person B hurt person C. Then Person C hurt Person A. In the end, balance is achieved, but it is difficult to trace the path.

Life Plan

Before birth, we develop a life plan. Each life, we have issues we want to explore and experiences we want to try.

Our life plan includes a purpose. We may be working to achieve something stellar.

Our life plan also lists the people we will work with to achieve our goals. We circle around with a group of souls. Prior to each lifetime, we decide who is going to be the parent and who is going to be the child; who is going to be the co-worker and who is going to be the lover. We switch these roles so everyone has a chance to try each of them. Then we choose the setting: First World Nation? Third World Nation? We choose attributes: rich, poor, race, ethnicity, gender, and culture. We try them all. We live our lives, return to the other side, rest, recover, analyze, and plan again.

This is why Tuesday's Quote from Marta makes so much sense. She could see a "deck of cards" and each showed a photo from a life she had led.

Once we have experienced all the things which interest us, we can return to the other side, release our individuality, and rejoin the energy of the Universe.

I hope this makes sense to you. Let me know what you think.

I Could have been Anyone

Quote from an Intuitive - I could have been anyone

One morning, I had an interesting experience when I woke up: I didn't have a clue where I was. I woke up not knowing who I was. I could have been anyone, anytime, any place. It didn't matter. I just wanted to know who I was so that I knew what I would be dealing with when I got up. Honest to G-d, I could have been old/young, male/female, in any country, but I was aware that I was still me.

I shuffled a deck of cards and they all had different faces, lifetimes, places and people. A voice said, "You're Marta this time!" I remembered I was Marta and that being Marta was an easy one.

I was unemotionally seeing all of these other lives. I could have been rotting in a prison in the middle ages. None of it mattered. There was no emotional response, I just needed to know who I was waking up to. It was extremely humbling.

House Talk

House Talk

Do you talk to your house? Does it respond? Can we communicate with our homes to benefit our lives and our homes? Listen to this.

Last Sunday, I met a woman who talks to homes, and they talk to her. Her job is to enhance the communication between a home and its residents. She told me that a happy home nourishes and protects its residents. This woman focuses on forging harmonious relationships between people and their homes. She considers homes to be living, breathing entities.

According to this woman, Jeanette Gibler (www.jeanettegibler.com), people can get stuck in their lives, and their homes can get stuck too. When either one moves energy, it helps the other. For example, when a home has been on the market for a while, but hasn't sold, she can work with the owner and the home to facilitate a sale. Working with both the people and the home changes the energy dynamic.

Homes reflect and mirror the people who live in them. As people refine themselves, there can be a magical blossoming and flourishing on all levels.

I told Jeanette that my children had moved out of our house and we had an empty room. I had begun to re-purpose and redecorate that room, but hadn't quite known what to do. She suggested that I talk to the room. It's important to explain that the child who had lived there and been supported by that room, had moved out. The room might be missing the child. Grieving. Waiting for the child's return. However, if I explained to the room that it could have a new purpose and a new life, the room might work with me to decide what needed to be done. Instead of a heavy lift, it could be a collaboration.

In addition to homes, properties also talk to Jeanette. As she drives by, they call to her. She told me that she had done some crazy investments based on these conversations. She had also missed out on some great investments when she was younger and had not yet learned to trust her intuition.

You might think this was the only conversation I had with someone who talks to houses. It wasn't. Last summer I met a builder who flips houses. He buys rundown houses, fixes them up, and sells them. He asks each house what it needs, then knows the answer and proceeds. I suggested that this was a type of psychic ability: the ability to understand what the house wanted. He looked at me quizzically, like he had never thought about that.

I have also spoken with angelologist Kermie Wohlenhaus. She told me that everything has an angel, including every home. When someone is thinking about buying a home, Kermie can connect with the home's angel to find out if there are structural problems or other items which a prospective buyer might want to consider. The angel might say, "The roof is pretty old," or "There are going to be plumbing problems. Look for the drip behind the water heater."

Kermie said that house angels are honest and direct. They know their houses inside and out. They are very happy when someone has a house they love. They tend to call in the people they are in harmony with. When a buyer walks in, they will get the feeling that they are home. That is how people "know."

I love my home. Our family moved in 21 years ago and it has been a perfect house. How did we "know" this was the home for us? During our search, I talked to a psychic. When I asked if we would buy a new house, she told me that we would buy a house in northwest Tucson and the house would be pink. A few weeks later, we found a house with pink rocks in the front yard and pink carpeting inside. We needed that signal to know this was the right house. We got a great house, a great school district, and great neighbors. It makes such a difference. Worked out perfectly.

One more house story. Years ago, I interviewed Gina Stanfill. She holds the Shamanic belief that spirits live in all things. She communicates with plants, trees, and animals. She has had both human and plant Spirit Guides. Her garden and her house have been huge teachers and Guides.

Gina also believes that we can reincarnate as plants, animals, or buildings. Yes, buildings.

So, go have a conversation with your home. Discover what it has to say. Let me know what happens.

Take care.

Seeing Non-Physical Energies

Quote from a Psychic - Seeing Non-Physical Energies

I asked John Hunter how he learned to see non-physical energies. He answered:

"I didn't understand how to see them. They were not in the physical realm. How do you see them? You learn to feel them. You look through your energy, the third eye. I didn't know what the third eye was. It is where you feel, or perceive, the energy vibrations.

"We are all energetic vibrations. If you are in a physical body, your body is at a very low vibration. It is very dense. It is very heavy. To see energies which are not in bodies, you tell your mind not to see the low dense vibration. You try to feel and identify a higher vibration that is not lowered by a physical body. Until you understand that concept, it's hard. You are feeling things. Your energy field picks up other energy fields as you come into contact with them. As you remove fear, you can feel a picture of what is approaching."

Finding Crystals and Gemstones to Enhance Your Life

Announcement: The Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair is this Sunday, February 4. I'll be set up there with books, crystals, and jewelry. The show is at the DoubleTree Inn across from Reid Park. It runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Finding Crystals and Gemstones to Enhance Your Life

The International Gem Show is in Tucson and the area is overflowing with crystals, jewelry, and gems. I've picked up a few things which might interest you.

Pyramids

I love the way energy circles up pyramids and pours into our lives. Lucky for us, I found a few new pyramids in Lapis, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, and Onyx, along with an amazing Jasper pyramid (okay, I found two Jasper pyramids, but I'm keeping one for myself!).

Blue Lapis relieves stress and brings inner peace. It is a stone of harmony, openness, and truth.

Purple Amethyst is known as the stone of spirituality. It provides powerful protection, bringing positive transformations, inner peace, and spiritual awareness.

Pink Rose Quartz is the stone of love: self-love, romantic love, community love, and universal love. Who doesn't need more love in their life?

Black Onyx is a grounding stone. It helps separate people from negativity.

Multi-colored Jasper is a stone of Protection. It helps mediate conflict, bringing peace in stressful situations.

I also have Clear Quartz, Tiger's Eye, and Selenite pyramids.

Pendants

For those who like to wear their crystals, I picked up a variety of pendant points in Lapis, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Tiger's Eye, Aventurine, Clear Quartz, and Black Tourmaline.

For extra empowerment, chakra-balancing pendants have seven, or more, spiritual stones. Chakras are the power points in the human body which circulate the energy of life. There are seven major chakras, along with many smaller ones. Chakra-balancing jewelry enhances the energy flow of the Chakras, harmonizes energies, and increases well-being.

The semi-precious gemstones on the Chakra-balancing pendants usually include Amethyst, Iolite, Aquamarine or Blue Topaz, Peridot, Citrine, Carnelian, and Garnet.

You can see a variety of Chakra-balancing pendants on the Chakra Jewelry page of this website.

Pendulums

Pendulums provide a way to actively work with your crystals. Psycho-kinetic energy runs through our bodies. When we use a pendulum and ask "yes" or "no" questions, this energy brings answers to us.

I have found a lovely assortment of pendulums, some in the Merkaba shape.

On Sunday, I'll be set up at the Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair and these wonderful stones will be available for purchase. Please come see these fabulous finds.
