Licensing for Psychics

Licensing for Psychics

Today's blog topic is one you've probably never thought about: Licensing for Psychics. This summer, our local psychic fair is moving from a hotel outside the Tucson city limits to a venue inside the city limits. This means that the City can require each participant to purchase a license. In Tucson's case, this is a "Fortuneteller license." This license is more expensive than some other City licenses because the City requires that each psychic be investigated by the Police Department before the license can be granted.

In my previous discussions with psychics, I had heard that being an ordained minister, or having some other kind of counseling credentials, exempted psychics from the need to be licensed as entertainers or fortunetellers. The City of Tucson says "no." Unless someone has a 501 C3 from the IRS, they are not exempt. The City of Tucson Fortuneteller License has a non-refundable $100.00 application fee and a prorated amount of $22.50 for the remainder of this year. I don't know what the annual renewal charge will be.

Laws regarding psychic work vary throughout the country. During our interview, I heard a fascinating story from Maryushka, a Tarot card reader, about her involvement in a police sting which led to changes in a Connecticut law. This is an excerpt from Maryushka's interview. My questions are in Italics and Maryushka's answers are in the regular font.

Can you tell me about the time you were arrested for Tarot card reading and how it impacted Connecticut's (CT) laws?
This is a sad story. In 1988, in CT, there was a law on the books which had been there since the 1930s. It was a Blue law which said that people were not allowed to read cards, do psychometry, astrology, or psychology. Different parts of the law had been struck down over time. Astrology and psychology had been removed by 1988. Psychometry and Tarot card reading were still being enforced. The law said that you were not allowed to do them in a fraudulent manner.

That would make sense. Things shouldn't be done in a fraudulent manner.
We have lots of other laws about fraud.

In 1988, two towns in the state decided to prosecute people based on this law. The attitude they had was that if you did it, it was fraudulent. The act of setting up shop and doing card reading was a fraudulent activity. They were conducting sting operations in West Hartford. I had been featured in the Hartford Courant, our newspaper, as a gift for Mother's Day: "Give your mother a reading with Maryushka."

That's so sweet.
The police called me and made an appointment to have a reading. It was a "husband and wife" team. First of all, I knew they were arresting people and I knew that the readers were not being tried. They were being arrested, then told to pay a fine. Being arrested is terrible.

This man and woman arrived at 9:30 p.m. My daughter was about 13 and she was asleep in the other room. I normally would never do a reading that late. I happened to be living with someone at that time and he was away. I was bored so I said, "Okay." When they arrived, I said, "It's really too late," but they begged for a reading. They told me it was their anniversary and they really wanted a reading. I let them in and they had a reading.

They told me that they worked for Aetna. Or, maybe he worked for Aetna; I don't remember now. When I did the reading, the consequential thing that I told them was that he would be getting retroactive pay. That was so bizarre because Aetna wouldn't pay retroactively. Maybe it would be a bonus? It really said it was retroactive pay.

I told them that they should go out more and I told them a few other things. We finished the bulk of the reading. Then he said, "You're under arrest." I am a child of the sixties. I said, in a tiny-weeny voice, "Don't hit me." To me, what comes after, "You're under arrest"? They throw you against the wall. The next thing I said was, "Don't take out any guns. There are no guns in this house."

They told me I had to go to the courthouse, and I said I was calling my lawyer. I already knew about this law. I had already seen a lawyer and I knew that what I did was not fraudulent. I offered a card reading and people paid for it. I offered a card reading for a set amount of money. Someone paid the money to me, they sat, they had a reading, then they went home. They got what they had paid for. It was not fraudulent. If someone told me that they hated the reading, I might give their money back.

I called my lawyer and she said she would meet us at the courthouse. I said, "I can‘t go. My daughter is asleep." The cops were shocked, "There's a child in the house?" "Yes." I called my sister and my friend and both of their phone lines were busy. Finally, I had the operator break into one of their calls and I got my friend on the phone. She came over to watch my child while I was arrested.

The woman handcuffed me and I told her that I was going to pass out, right there on the sidewalk. She said, "No you're not. You're going to walk to the car and get in." We went to the police station and I told the fingerprinting guy to do what he needed to do. I was not there.

This was May 12, 1988. The legal procedures began and they continued the procedures. Each time, they wanted me to plead guilty and pay $50. Then they said, "You don't have to plead guilty, you just have to promise never to do this again." They said that they would let me have "accelerated rehabilitation" which is a one-time deal for first time offenders which says that if they behave and don't get arrested again, their record will be expunged after a while. I didn't do that.

The trial took place in December 1988. In the meantime, my lawyer was a criminal defense lawyer who worked on federal cases where lawyers were appointed to represent defendants. She was called to work on a case so she couldn't represent me anymore. Another lawyer, who was teaching A Course in Miracles, said that he might defend me. I met with him and we did a card reading to see if we should go forward with this. The card that came up was "Justice," so we knew to do it. He agreed to defend me for very little money.

So, what happened?
I had a four-day trial in West Hartford in December. I was acquitted. It was a jury of six.

I brought a whole group with me to the trial, including several readers who came to support me. My friends and family were also there. Together, we picked the jury. During jury selection we listened to people and picked the jury.

The trial consisted of the prosecutors asking me questions. We brought up spirituality. We were going to go for religious freedom as a defense. After four days of questions, we were done. The jury declared that I was not guilty. I was acquitted.

Even after I was acquitted, the Judge said to me, "Now, remember, you shouldn't let people into your house." The only people who had ever been a problem in my house were the police!

Remember the definitive statement I made in the reading about them getting retroactive pay? At the trial, the female cop was asked if she had received retroactive pay. She said she didn't know because she had automatic deposit to her account. You can imagine the laughter. Then, they asked the male cop if he had received retroactive pay and he said, "Yes." Just that week, he had been notified that they were going to receive two years of back pay. That is why the trial couldn't happen until December - we had to wait until the prediction had come true.

Three years later, a group called the "New Age Association" petitioned the Legislature to change the law. I told them that they had to take the lead if they wanted the law changed. There was a joint session of the legislative committees from the House and the Senate and they listened to several hours of testimony. They needed to hear from someone who had been harmed by the law. That was me, so I testified. I told them how I had been harmed. My business had been destroyed.

I had been reading on the radio for special occasions. After I had been on the radio, people would call me for private readings. That business had been killed. One of the legislators told me that they were one of my biggest fans when I was on the radio. The Legislature removed the whole law, including the part about Psychometry. They didn't just take out Tarot card reading, they removed the entire law because there were many laws on the books against fraud. As long as your intention was not fraudulent, you were not committing a fraudulent activity. That was what we won on.

So, in order to read now, do you need a license?
No. You don't need a license. Most of the readers in CT don't remember this. They don't even know it happened. It's probably time to write an article for the paper again. It's been 25 years. Now, we have a giant industry in this state.

A giant industry of card readers?

If you are a practicing psychic, what are the laws where you are located? I am curious about how being psychic works around the country. You can send your thoughts to me at

I hope to see some of you at Sunday's Psychic Fair at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tucson, AZ. I'll be there with my new retail sales license.

Quotes from a Psychic - Soul Mission
 Quotes from a Psychic

Earlier this month, I interviewed Kermie Wohlenhaus. Kermie is clairvoyant and she works closely with angels. During our interview we talked about how each person develops a contract for their lifetime, and this contract includes their soul mission. I asked Kermie why we couldn't know what we were here to do? Why was it so hard to figure it out? Wouldn't our lives be easier if we knew what we were here do, learn, or experience?

Kermie answered:

"There are beings who come through and know their mission. It's very difficult for them. From infancy up to when they are about 20 years old, they are very bored. It's hard. They know what they are doing.

"There is so much time and space here. We come from a place where we are very close to not having time and space. Here, it's hard to drive in traffic. In other realms, all we have to do is think about a place and we are there. The angels say it's benevolent to forget. Forgetting allows us to have free will."

I asked how we could figure out what we were supposed to do, and Kermie told me:

"It's in our heart. It's tucked away. They say, ‘We put it in the best place where you will never find it because you don't sit and go within.' When you follow the desire of your heart, you find it. If you are a lawyer, and you want to be a florist, when you start turning and being the florist, you will feel good. When you are who you really are, you have joy. You know it's what you are supposed to be doing. It's tucked in there."

* * *

I have been fortunate in my life because I've talked to psychics who have eased me along my path, and helped me figure some things out. How about you? Have you figured out your life purpose? How did you discover it? I would appreciate hearing your insights at

Summer Camp for Spiritual Interests

Summer Camp

Have you heard that the Mystic Messengers Psychic Fair will be moving to the DoubleTree Inn in Tucson, AZ? Our next fair will be August 3, 2014, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. It should be an exciting day!

Later in August, I am planning to visit Lily Dale, a spiritualist community in western New York state. I would like to interview people about the Lily Dale community, and also interview a couple of Mediums about their work. I've sent e-mails to Lily Dale, but I haven't heard back. Does anyone who reads this blog have contacts in Lily Dale? Who should I call?

I thought you might like to know more about some of the spiritualist communities in the United States so that you can plan your own summer vacation. I knew about four of these communities, but found three more by searching online. If you are interested in a private session with a Medium, a ghost walk, or classes to advance your abilities, these are great places to visit.

Lily Dale, New York
This information is from Lily Dale's website,

Lily Dale, located in Southwestern New York State, is one hour south of Buffalo, three hours south of Toronto, three hours north of Pittsburgh and three hours east of Cleveland. It is near the Village of Cassadaga.

The Lily Dale Assembly is the World's Largest Center for the Science, Philosophy, and Religion of Spiritualism. It is 135 years old.

The website defines a Spiritualist as: "One who believes, as the basis of his or her religion, in the continuity of life and in individual responsibility. Some, but not all, Spiritualists are Mediums and/or Healers. Spiritualists endeavor to find the truth in all things and to live their lives in accordance therewith."

Lily Dale hosts events, lectures, and services to bring information, enlightenment, hope and peace to those who open their hearts. Demonstrations of clairvoyance are given by Mediums at daily services. The Healing Temple is available for meditation, and spiritual healers are available to work with those who desire individual healing energies. Many Mediums are available for private sessions.

Public demonstrations of mediumship are included in the gate fee and are held three times a day. Classes are provided on a broad range of subjects. Workshops, ghost walks, and special events are also held in Lily Dale.

According to the website, Lily Dale members are dedicated to the service of God, Spirit and Mankind. This is the foundation upon which all else is built. "It is our hope that you leave us with peace in your heart and a deeper awareness of your divinity."

Cassadaga, Florida
From the website and from Wikipedia

Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp is a 119 year old community of spiritually-minded people located in Central Florida. Established as a Spiritualist community in 1894, the Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting AssociationTM consists of approximately 57 acres with 55 residences. Those who reside on the property live, worship and work in harmony with their beliefs. About 25 of the Camp's residents are Mediums who offer counseling from their homes.

The Cassadaga Spiritualist camp began when the Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting Association was founded by George P. Colby, from Pike, New York. George was a trance medium who traveled to many states, giving readings and seances.

As a young man, George was told during a séance that he would someday be instrumental in founding a Spiritualist community in the South. That prophecy was fulfilled in 1875, when Colby was led through the wilderness of Central Florida by his spirit guide "Seneca" to an area surrounded by uncommon hills.

Colby homesteaded land and, in 1895, deeded more than 35 acres to the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting Association which was incorporated in December of 1894.

Many classes, workshops, and healing sessions are held at the Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp.

Camp Chesterfield, Chesterfield, Indiana

Camp Chesterfield was founded in 1886 and is the home of the Indiana Association of Spiritualists. Camp Chesterfield offers Spiritualist Church services, mediumship, faith healing, and spiritual development classes, as well as psychic readings and a psychic fair.

According to the website, "Historic Camp Chesterfield is a place of peace and serenity nestled near the crossroads of the Midwest. It can be your gateway to the enlightenment of Spiritualism."

Harmony Grove, California

From the Harmony Grove website:

"Incorporated in 1896 to further the teaching of spiritualism as a religion, philosophy and science, Harmony Grove Spiritualist Association continues that legacy today, as a Center for Spiritual Seekers. Our vision is to provide a haven and forum, for those seeking Spiritual enlightenment, knowledge, understanding, healing, and the acceptance of the Oneness of God in All Life.

"Harmony Grove Spiritualist Association is open and receptive to new thoughts & progressive philosophies of Spiritualism and Universal Spiritual Principles. Weaving nature, diverse culture, ceremony, healing, art, music, and education with a living Universal Spirit, Harmony Grove is much more than a Spiritual Retreat Center, it is a sacred oasis to empower the soul on every level."

Due to a devastating wildfire on May 15, 2014, Harmony Grove is not open this summer.

Lake Pleasant, Massachusetts

Lake Pleasant is a village in Montague, Massachusetts, and is the site of an early and prominent American Spiritualist campground. Lake Pleasant was founded in 1870 as a camp meeting ground with 75 tent lots.

Lake Pleasant is the home of The National Spiritual Alliance (TNSA). The National Spiritual Alliance is a deistic, democratic, inclusionistic, reincarnationist, Spiritualist organization.

From the website:

The National Spiritual Alliance has been serving Spiritual needs since 1913. TNSA is an alliance of churches, missions, schools, ministers and members, all gathered under the umbrella of the religion, philosophy and science of Spiritualism. We welcome ALL who seek spiritual understanding regardless of current or prior faith tradition, or lack thereof.

The National Spiritual Alliance provides Sunday Services, Weekly Development Circles, Monthly Psychic Fairs, Spiritual Healing practice and training, Ordination of Ministers, Establishment of Missions, Chartering of TNSA Spiritualist Churches, and Workshops for Minister Training, Spiritual Healing, Mediumship and Psychic Development.

Wonewoc Spiritualist Camp, Wisconsin

Wonewoc Spiritualist Camp is located in Wonewoc, Wisconsin. The camp is open every summer. In 2014, the camp will be open from June 1 until August 29, offering classes, services, workshops and readings

Wonewoc Spiritualist Camp is celebrating its 140th year. Camp began in 1874 with a group of Spiritualists from New York, but did not incorporate until 1901. Spiritualists have been on the grounds every summer for 140 years! There is no admission charge to come on the grounds.

Onset, Massachusetts
From Wikipedia:

Onset was developed in the 1880s as a summer camp meeting for Spiritualists. Many of the existing cottages in Onset were built as second homes for individuals from Boston and other northeastern cities who gathered to hear Mediums communicate with the dead. When it was run by the Spiritualists, the village was known as Onset Bay Grove.

I couldn't find a website for this community, so you'll have to do your own digging to find out if anything is happening in Onset this summer.

Let me know if you are aware of any other Spiritualist Camps.

Enjoy this lovely summer.

This is part of a message I recently heard. I believe it addresses our world situation.

There is mastery in remembering. When you take that term, "member," it implies an inclusive club or group. "Re-membering" is coming back to your all-inclusiveness, to the one united energy which you were. In re-membering, you reactivate that knowingness, become one of the members, one of the group, one of that vibration from which you came.

As you radiate your strength, your fiber, your beingness, and you remember the group vibration, it helps activate the remembering in those around you. You are not a neutral energy. You are a creative energy. As you illumine your own life, and live it brighter and lighter, it provides a spark for those around you. They already have within them all that it takes to "re-member" but, somehow, your process provides that little spark that they need to remember the divine within themselves.

Someone who is learning a new dance step and does not yet have the rhythm within themselves naturally, literally, counts, "One, two, right, left," until they can coordinate the vibration with their actions. Too many of you believe that you are still there with the "One, two, right, left," when that rhythm is already within you. It is a part of who and what you are, and when you have the rhythm, the last thing you think about is "One, two, left, right." You go and you flow with the vibration. Your mastery is there. It serves no one to go back to the "One, two, left, right." It serves no one. Dance. Live fully in your vibration, in your energy, and what it is that you resonate. It becomes contagious to those around you.

There is no "me vs. you." In narrow minds is where competition came in. In the higher knowing, there is no competition. Everyone is an accent. Everyone is a component of the sacred and the divine. When you became "one against the other," or took sides, or formed group against group, you withdrew your energy and your light to co-create together in the mastery in which you were meant to create. Understand and appreciate that the smallest of people, the smallest of talents, the smallest of plants, the smallest of pillows, holds a space in this universe which is necessary to create the whole; it is not an accident. It is not by chance that they too co-exist with you.

Create a new world which is already there. It is a matter of re-membering. Rejoining the group and the vibration from which you came.

Reiki, Light, Prayer

Reiki, Light, Prayer

I have a friend who isn't feeling well. In my morning meditation a few days ago, I thought of her surrounded by a healing light. Later that morning, a King Snake appeared in my back yard, climbing a rod, and looking like a medical insignia. A few days later, I told the snake story to my less-than-well friend. She told me that her Guides had mentioned that they had heard people's prayers for her, and were working on her healing. Is there a connection between sending healing energy to someone, and it actually making a difference?

Many psychics and healers perform Reiki and other healing arts. According to The International Center for Reiki Training (, 2011):

"Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by ‘laying on hands' and is based on the idea that an unseen ‘life force energy' flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's ‘life force energy' is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy."

The Center's website goes on to explain:

"A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well being. Many have reported miraculous results.

"Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery."

When I interviewed Gina Stanfill, a Reiki Master, I asked about her work. She told me:

"Reiki is a healing art. There are many types of healing arts. I started getting involved in this when I was studying Tai Chi. I had a Tai Chi instructor who was also into Shamanic Healing. Then my brother came to live with me, so I had my Tai Chi teacher teaching me Tai Chi, Shamanic Healing, and Chi Gong, and my brother teaching me Reiki, eastern Indian philosophy and Kabbalah. So I have some Asian tools and some Indian tools.

"In the end, they are all the same; but, their approaches and philosophies are different. So I have Reiki Master and Chi Gong certificates. I also have cranial-sacral certificates.

"In the end, all healing arts are the same thing: I have to be beyond myself; I have to allow the person to heal themself. That is where all healing comes from, from our selves. People take the first step in healing themselves by wanting to come to a healer. They are open to doing something. Then, I just guide energy into their bodies and help it move around to where it needs to flow. It is a hands-on "touchy" thing. People like the hands-on work. Truly, I could sit here, write your name down and do the exact same thing as I do having you sit there for an hour while I touch you. There is no difference, but people like the intimacy of being with someone and being touched.

"The energy flows through me. I call it in and I am a conduit for it. But it is their healing. I can call it through, but they have to accept it. Otherwise it goes through them and back out. They have to be willing to accept it into their body for its highest good.

"I can touch someone and focus energy into a spot, but I can also do that without touching them. It is about my intent to send the energy to them, not about touching them. In Reiki, they have a term and words you can say to send energy long distances. In some Shamanic customs, the raven is the carrier of symbolic healing. If I want to send health to someone I call upon a raven and ask it to carry the energy to that person. I can send it, but I can't make someone receive it; just like I can read your information, but I can't make you decide what to do with it. Healing is very visual. On the other end, a person might feel warmth, or a tingle, or they might just feel better."

I asked: Is it like prayer?

"It is exactly what prayer is supposed to be! All of these healing arts are similar. It is just about whatever belief system a person has."

When I asked Erik Assman what happened when he performed Reiki, he replied, "I see the whole body as an energy matrix and I try to align it. I look for places where things aren't right. I try to put energy in to re-align the matrix. Sometimes I see the beginnings of disease manifesting in the body. Sometimes I can see actual disease in the body."

Another healer told me that when doing body work, "I began seeing energetic gridlines on people. When I looked at someone, I could see ‘in' and it would look like a hologram with grids."

Denise Singerline, a Chakra-Balancing Specialist, remarked, "When I start doing healing work, I asked Spirit to help me to step aside so that they can work through me and attach themselves to the backs of my hands. I ask them to show me what needs to be done; to guide me and lead me. I step out of the way and I start channeling energy through my body."

Is there a benefit to Reiki, Light, and Prayer (in any form you choose)? Well, it can't hurt. Might as well give it a try.

Have you had experiences using remote Reiki, sending Light, or praying for someone, which have made a difference? I would love to hear your story. You can e-mail it to me at

Quote from a Visionary Artist and Medium - Melody Krafft

Quote from a Visionary Artist and Medium

"I have had many past religious lives. I think it is easy for me to meditate because I have had many lives where I was required to meditate. I suspect that a lot of Mediums and people who fall easily into that meditative state have probably had past lives as monks or nuns or priests where they were very disciplined in sitting and getting still. It's a soul memory. When you come into this life, it's still there. I remember as a child that I would slide into meditative states all the time and get information. We continue."

"We learn everything that we want to learn in this lifetime, then we shed the body. We go to the other side, rest, and decide what we want to learn the next time around. When is the best time to come back? Who are the best parents to help facilitate this? Who are our friends going to be? That kind of thing. It's a continuation. This lifetime is one chapter in a huge book."

Snake on a Rod

Are you ready for another snake story? On Saturday, we had a King Snake in our backyard again. Perhaps, it's the same snake we had last week. Anyway, this time, the snake climbed up a rod so it could get about 3 feet high into a bush! A photo of the "Snake on a Rod" can been seen above [too late -- I took it down on August 5. Use your imagination Smile].

I rotated the photo so it looks like the snake is climbing vertically. Why? Because now it looks so much like the snake on a medical insignia! Any thoughts on what this means?

Six Year Blogiversary!

Six things I've learned

It's My Psychic Search's six year blogiversary! For six years, I've been sharing my journey to find out more about psychics and psychic ability. It's been fascinating. So, what have I learned through six years of interviews, meditations and channeling events? Lots of things! Here are Six:

1) Psychic ability works because our physical world is supported by a non-physical world. I started My Psychic Search by wanting to know about psychic ability. I thought it was like ESP, or mind reading, or seeing the future. I knew there was a direct connection to the other side, but I didn't understand the underlying mechanisms which allowed this communication. It's not just that someone can contact Dead Uncle Fred, or predict the future. That communication is the just the evidence that there is an underlying reality which allows the physical and non-physical worlds to work together to produce our life experience.

In the beginning, I had superficial concepts of reincarnation which seemed to make sense. I understood that we lived in this physical world, then returned to the spirit world, then cycled back to the physical world. However, I didn't understand how everything had to be set up just so, in order for intuitive connections to work. I didn't understand how we all had to have Spirit Guides and teachers on the other side with whom to communicate. Now I see that we each have a team of Guides, angels, teachers, and family members who support us as we move through physical life.

I didn't understand how all things (people, spirits, dogs, tables) vibrated at different frequencies to provide the illusion of a physical world within the vast universe of an unseen world. I am still grappling with this concept.

2) Souls evolve over lifetimes. We travel from one side to the other side, and back again, having experiences and honing our skills. Our Higher Self oversees these travels.

3) The future is not set. I wanted to know the future. I discovered that some things can be predicted but, because we have free will, our future will depend on the choices we make in the moment. Even when a set of choices is pre-programmed, we still have to chose one. We are responsible for our lives.

4) Most psychics are very nice, pretty-normal people. However, some still have big egos and some stand on their egos to preach humility. That's fun to watch (once you've figured out what they are doing).

5) I receive the same personal message during most of my readings with psychics: "There's an opening coming." Something will happen and this work will become better-known. Waiting. Waiting. Having fun while waiting.

6) Being psychic can be very difficult. Psychics are still in the closet, afraid to let people know what they do. They don't want to be considered weird. They may have a website, but they won't post woo-woo information on Facebook pages which might be viewed by family or friends. Because I find psychic ability so fascinating, I think everyone else should find it fascinating too. No, the psychics tell me that they don't even share their insights with family members.

Another aspect: One psychic was often stunned by the messages which came through for clients. These messages shook up lives. Being raised to be quiet and polite, this psychic wondered, "Who am I to say these things to people?" It was nerve-wracking. Psychics are human, with the same issues as the rest of us.

Even after middle age, and into the retirement phase of their lives, some psychics are still reluctant to stand in their truth and tell people what they do. In some ways, this works to my advantage. People tell me things which I share with you, that they would never post on their websites. They encourage me to assemble the ideas from many psychics and bring these ideas forth without using their names. The information is terrific, but they don't want people to be able to identify them as the source of the information. If you want to know what psychics know, which they won't share with anyone else, keep checking this blog. I'll fill in you in on whatever I learn.

Over six years, I've learned the basics, but there is so much more to ponder. Now, I am wondering about things such as aliens and Star People. What is the difference? That is how naive I am. I don't have answers. Where do we come from? Are our souls as likely to have lived on other planets as they are to have lived on Earth? Are we, at our core, Star People? Has our DNA been infused with the DNA from advanced civilizations? Is that why we are so quickly developing new ideas and technologies? Or, are people communicating with non-physical teachers and bringing these ideas to Earth?

While doing this research, I have experienced my own psychic moments, but I haven't moved very far down my personal psychic path. It is important to actually experience psychic ability so that I know it is real. However I am aware that, this lifetime, my job is not to tell you about my personal abilities. I am not here to share information from just one point of view. My job is to discover what other people do, and share it with you. When I write about other people, I can be more objective than when I write about myself.

The goal of this work is to remove the cobwebs from old concepts of spirituality. It is to help people who don't understand events in their lives to discover that they may be psychic. It is to help people who are profoundly psychic to get the word out that this is real. It's important for them to understand that even though they communicate with energies on the other side of the veil, even though they walk between worlds, they are still normal. Many other people do the same kind of work, in the same quiet way.

Around the world, this work is accepted. In the United States, we are just pulling back the curtain and peeking into the work being done by Psychics, Readers, Intuitives, Shamans, Mediums, Spiritual Counselors (PRISMS), healers and energy workers.

What a great adventure this is for me. I hope that you, too, are enjoying this ride.

Happy Blogiversary!

Diamond Facets

Diamond Facets

Our Personal Diamond Facets

Quote from a Psychic - Richard Schickel

"I don't see any conflict between G-d and Karma. Karma is used to burn off negative issues so that people can get closer to the G-d energy. A person can really only deal with one or two or three issues during each lifetime. That's why people need to have a lot of lifetimes. It's like we are rough diamonds. We need to polish one facet our diamond, then we need to return to polish another facet of ourselves."

Richard Schickel

People come to Earth to develop character. Each lifetime, we refine our traits. Leah Taylor believes that most of our building is done on this side. People can learn lessons in the soul world, but to build a true spiritual legacy, develop a talent, or refine a deep character trait, that work is best done in the flesh. Eventually, we attain mastery, go back to the other side, and return to Divine Light.

Source has "Diamond Facets" too

Spiritual teachers have shared the concept that we are all pieces of an Infinite Divine Mind; we are aspects of "Source." We are the many facets of Source's diamond.

Cynthia Rae believes that we come to Earth to learn lessons for our personal growth and also to provide the opportunity for "The Source of Life" (G-d) to benefit from our experiences. It's a form of connectedness. She explained:

"The Source of Life has never lived every single moment on this planet; has not lived every single moment in a different refraction, a different life, a different emotion. If you look at each of us, there are millions of different opportunities. That's why everyone is so different. If you look at Source as in the middle, and know that everyone is connected to Source, you understand that every person is allowing Source to live vicariously through them. Source can feel the emotions, can see the things we see, and can understand because of our brains. We are here to learn for ourselves and for Source."

Each of us is having experiences so that Source can learn through us. We are living on Earth as extensions of Source. It's like Source is a glove with seven billion fingers. Each finger is experiencing a physical life, while still connected to the "hand" of Source.

Another Intuitive had his own way of explaining why there so many personalities, so many individuals. He said: This is a means for the whole to investigate itself. To know itself. We are how Source knows itself in totality. The Universal Mind, Source, is all frequencies. We are all, as we present ourselves, a small spark of the totality. All frequencies, high and low, are included. Not good or bad; it's high or low. It's just frequency.

Someone else commented, "We are how God plays." I loved that idea.

So much to think about. Do you feel that we are all part of a larger being? Are we "the fingers of God,""the facets of Source's diamond," "pieces of a Divine Mind" "a small spark of the totality"? So many metaphors, all expressing the same idea.

Let me know what you think. How would you express this idea? You can send an e-mail to

Snake Sighting

Snake Sighting

I was sitting in my chair, meditating, and pondering today's blog post when my husband called me outside. There was a snake in our backyard!

This has to be a metaphor for something: a black snake slid across the ground next to our back wall. The snake eased into a space between the back wall and a brick which formed part of a planter. As the snake slid through this tight space, it . . . wait . . . shed its skin. OMG. We actually watched a snake shed its skin. Did you know that snakes shed their skin? This is normal, but to actually see it happen, and to think about it as a metaphor, was incredible.

What does it mean? Is it a symbol?

Perhaps, this is the time for all of us to shed our old skins. Out with the old and in with the new. The shedding snake reminds us to release the old thoughts and fears which hold us back. We move into the future.

Or, perhaps skin-shedding is an illustration of how we can lose our physical body and keep going. When we die, we shed our physical body and transform into an energy body.

Or, perhaps the snake was showing us how our old bodies can become new again as we move into solar light bodies. This metaphor is a stretch for me since I'm not exactly sure how this "solar light body" idea works. Bit by bit, we replace our carbon-based bodies with light-based bodies. I've heard quite a bit about this. We end up with energy bodies, but I don't know exactly how that would work on a physical earth. We'll just leave this idea behind (like the snake skin) and keep moving.

BTW, I think this was a King Snake.

After the snake shed its skin, it was under the bushes and we couldn't see it. Then, it came to the edge of the planter, peeked out between the bricks and watched us watch it. It felt like a dare.

Let me know what you think about this whole experience.

The Veil will Lift Four More Times

The Veil will Lift Four More Times

Exciting news: My interview with Jeff Sonnenburg is now available as part of the Psychics Speak series. Jeff shared many things which I had not previously heard. The ideas which really stuck with me were about the voices he hears. Jeff hears messages on three levels, with three different voices. Messages are related to a personal consciousness, a group consciousness, and Divine Will. If you are interested in reading our full interview, you can find it as a Kindle e-book. Keep in mind that you don't need a Kindle to read the book, just download the free e-reader for your PC, tablet, or phone.

More exciting news: Last week I heard a channeled message which reminded us that the veil continues to lift. I want to share a portion of the message with you today:

Greetings one and all.

Such exciting times are before us, and you get exactly what you put into it. Yes, a lot will be done in the evenings while you sleep, and you will use your finer body to travel to various areas to learn, to enjoy, and to teach.

The veil will be lifted four more times, and maybe more, depending on the consciousness of humanity. Hopefully, all of you experienced something in consciousness. If you didn't, that is okay. Your Higher Self is well in control of all that is going on.

It is such a unique time, as this has never occurred before. Rest assured, critical mass has been achieved. There is no way to fail at this point in time.

The growing pains are there. Of course, we say that in pun, simply because you will notice disturbances in your energy as the frequency increases. Rest assured, as you focus and work your belief system, knowing that everything about you is perfect, not just in Divine order, let's step it up a notch: all is in perfection. Your health is perfect. Your energy frequency is perfect for this day. Each day it increases, more and more and more.

Keep from viewing the lower frequencies of the media, of the government. Concentrate on yourself first, your family second. Give a helping hand to whomever asks.

It is such a beautiful time. To know all that is going on is almost impossible. There are so many programs and events which are occurring. Special alignments. The summer solstice just occurred. A magnificent portal was opened up to, again, bring in more energy, a higher frequency, more harmony. The more you align yourself with these changes, the more excitement you will find in your life, the more fulfilling it will be for yourself, the more joy you will feel in your heart, and the better you will feel physically, with the exception of a few little bumps in the road, as the energy escalates quickly.

Know too that all resolves into one thing: the perfect body, perfect mind, the remembering of the oneness, the remembering of who exactly you are. The remembering of your power. The great power that you are. You have created worlds. And yet, to be in this human form, you have numbed yourself down so far, so far, that you think you are only just a little spark of divineness. This little itty-bitty spark, when in fact, you are the entire flame. It is so fun for us to sit back and watch the light bulbs go on in your mind, realizing, "Oh yeah! I remember this! I can do that." This is so much fun for us, and we hope that it is fun for you as well. The journey. It is all about the journey. The fulfillment that you feel for each step that you take forward. Great fun for everyone.

When you finally get to the point where you feel comfortable, and you look back at your journey, you will smile, and you will appreciate each step you took. You will appreciate and understand how you were vital in helping other people remember their divinity.

It's going to be a great party when all is accomplished. It won't be tomorrow, and it won't be next year, but the more effort you place into your remembering, your awakening, the quicker it will occur. You can be passive and, yes, it will come eventually, but the effort you place into yourself pays off so quickly.

We encourage you, each day, to think about the changes that are approaching quickly, and to understand that the frequency is increasing exponentially. It is a wonderful change. We are excited and we hope you are too.

With that, we will close. We love you, we bless you. Amen.
